What to Expect

River Rocks Church has been formed by followers of Jesus Christ who have a loving passion to share the gospel about Jesus’ death on the cross and raising from the dead three days later! We are a Calvary Chapel, desiring to reach hearts across the world and those in our own community. We desire to reach hearts both across the world and in our own community. Here is what you will find when you walk through our doors.

	Casual & Loving Atmosphere We welcome you to come as you are: our Heavenly Father is more concerned about our hearts than our outward appearances, and He certainly does not have a ‘dress-code’ for His children, so neither do we.
	Teaching Style We believe that the Bible is inerrant and fully inspired by God. It is life changing and designed to direct our lives and build an intimate relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. Therefore, we see the importance of studying the Scriptures verse by verse as the Holy Spirit leads.
	Spirit Led Worship We believe that worship is a time to honor God with all that we are. We seek to create a distraction free worship environment where we can respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The worship style is contemporary. The emphasis is never placed on a worship band or leader as we believe worship is a special and devoted time in which our whole being should entirely give glory to God!
	Children’s Ministry We place a very high importance on ministering to the children in the church. Every service, they are taught the Bible in a way that best fits their understanding according to their age group. Our teachings in the main sanctuary are designed for adults, therefore, we encourage you to sign your kids into their classroom so you can also be ministered to, undistracted, at the same time your child is in their class. We place a high value on loving your children and their overall security so you don’t have to worry about your child during the service! When you come in, plan on coming a few minutes early to sign your kids in at our children’s ministry check-in desk, then enjoy the service!

We encourage everyone who walks through our doors to have a deep and personal relationship with the Lord both inside and out of church: through their individual devotions, one-on-one discipleship, and prayer life! We hope that upon your visiting, you leave changed and have found a church home with us!
